FAQ
What forms of technology are you most familiar with?
We are familiar with a wide range of technologies and are constantly staying abreast of and learning new technologies as they rapidly emerge. We constantly work with Microsoft and Apple systems and software, SMART, eInstruction, Promethian and many other software programs. We also have extensive experience with networking, hardware and audio visual equipment including document cameras, projectors, student response systems (clickers), iPod and other digital music players, video cameras, audio recording, and more.
Can you help me update current or design new systems for teaching?
Definitely! We can take an inventory of what you currently have and suggest some technology pieces to help you achieve your curriculum goals. We work with your IT and/or designated staff to design an implementation system that works specifically for you.
What process do you use to determine my individual training needs?
We hold an initial assessment session with you to determine your curriculum goals and desires. After reviewing your current technology assets, we can begin to formulate a recommendation best suited for your situation. The most important thing is a clear and specific understanding of your goals and objectives. Even if you aren’t 100% sure of what those are, we can help you define and refine goals for your technology curriculum.
How long is the training required to train my faculty?
We design trainings to fit your schedule. The length needed for a training program depends on your end goals and your starting point. We offer full day, half day, plan period meetings, weekend, pre and post plan meetings, and any other setup that fits into your schedule. We understand that time is short and precious to your staff, which is why – before we conduct the training – we survey participants to ensure we cover exactly what your people need, and don’t waste time covering things they already know.
Will my teachers receive any special certification in the technology they are trained in?
While we do not specifically offer certifications at this time, that is something we can help you work toward if you have a specific requirement or need for certification. We can help you find the best programs for your needs and aid your teachers in getting the most out of them.
We have a number of different forms of technology we use for different purposes. Can you provide training in all of them?
Yes! As remote a possibility as it is, should you have a piece of technology we are not familiar with, our highly skilled technology trainers will learn that system in a short amount of time. Our specialty is learning your systems to make the most out of what you have. We understand tight budgets in education and are committed to helping you make the most out of what you currently have.
We have a systems administrator; can s/he be trained by your company to teach the teachers?
“Train the Trainer” sessions are available. Contact us to discuss this option in more detail.
Because of scheduling issues, I might need you to train my teachers one-on-one; is that possible?
One-on-one and small group trainings are most definitely available and HIGHLY recommended. We all learn and work better in smaller groups where we can focus more on the task at hand. We definitely encourage the small group settings and will work with your schedule as needed.
Quick Tip - Google

Add filetype: to your search to display results that only match a certain file type.
Use the Google Search engine as a calculator by typing a math problem in the search.
Enter a full phone number with area code to display the name and address associated with that phone number.
